Gilbert is an Idaho native, with both sides of his family having lived in Idaho for over 100 years. He grew up here. He knows Idaho from the bottom of Hells Canyon to Fourth of July Summit in the White Clouds. Gilbert and his wife are avid outdoors people. They hunt, fish, camp, whitewater raft, whitewater powerboat, and snowmobile together. Their greatest enjoyment is sharing time with their children and grandchildren. Both Gilbert and Lynn have a combined 30 years in Insurance.
